Updated January 20, 2019 05:02:34 CCC has announced that it will hold a networking and assurance conference in Perth, Western Australia on January 19 and 20.
The CCC is looking for experienced network engineers to join its new network engineering group, which will work closely with the IT sector.
The new group will oversee all aspects of network engineering, including IT and network management.
There are some key differences between the existing network engineering team and the new group.
CCC said the new team will have a more diverse range of roles, including security and compliance, systems engineering and infrastructure management, and software development and deployment.
It will also have more responsibility for the development and delivery of products and services in the network.
In the past, the IT team has led the network engineering teams and this is a new position, with responsibility for IT as well as infrastructure, security and software engineering, said CCC chief executive Tim Evans.
“There will be a lot of new people who will be stepping into roles and roles within CCC, but we will also be looking for those who are more seasoned in their roles, in the industry and have a lot more experience,” he said.
CSCS chief executive Mike McKean said the organisation would be looking to attract an experienced network engineer to help build on the existing IT team.
“This new group, we want to have more experienced people in the position, so we have a strong team, we’ve got great talent, and we’re looking for a good network engineer,” Mr McKea said.
Network assurance is an area where the IT industry has struggled to gain traction in the past.
The IT sector’s performance has lagged the rest of the economy in the last few years, with its share of the workforce falling from 24 per cent in 2014 to 23 per cent this year.
But that doesn’t mean IT companies haven’t been improving.
A survey by IT company McAfee in 2018 found that 77 per cent of IT employees believe they are performing at a high level, while 75 per cent believe they have a “good enough network”.
CCC was established in 1996, and it was the first organisation in Australia to take the CCC role.
It has since grown to become one of the largest and most diverse network assurance providers in the world.
Mr Evans said the company would look to hire a range of IT professionals, and he said he was confident that they would be able to deliver on CCCs mission.
“The way we have to work with our people is to provide them with the best possible network, which is a network that is secure, that’s protected, that doesn
